Junr 8, playlist

And we're back-again, and this week we return to string quartets. I haven't been able to make it through everything I wanted to but I'm going to give it this week and we will probably return after a break to explore some other material. I'd like to explore some Habenstock-Ramati, Cage, Brown, Wolf, Feldman, Wolpe, Young, and others in a future show, so stay tuned for that.

Tonight though, will be slightly more up to date pieces. Starting of with Amazing Grace arranged by Ben Johnston, and then a return to the concert give by the Imbroglio String Quartet featuring the works of Thomfaricraw (myself and two other Austin based composers, Brent Fariss, and Clark Crawford), followed by a piece for computer and string quartet by Claire M Singer. And much more. Hope you enjoy, and stay tuned for some interesting shows over the next few weeks as I have some guest curators bringing in their own selections!
